This resource is completely free when students register with their ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÊÓ email. Services include on-demand medical care, TalkNow for mental health support, scheduled counseling, health coaching, and self-care tools.

Kern County Department of Human Services (KDHS) – Medi-Cal
ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÊÓ supports students in accessing Medi-Cal, California’s publicly funded health insurance program that provides free or low-cost coverage for essential services such as doctor visits, mental health care, and prescriptions. Offered through the Kern County Department of Human Services, Medi-Cal helps ensure students can stay healthy and focused on their academic goals.

Medi-Cal Dental
Medi-Cal also offers dental benefits through the Denti-Cal program, providing eligible students with access to a wide range of preventive and restorative services. These services may include exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and more; all at no cost when using a Medi-Cal dental provider.
