Teacher: Certificate of Achievement
Description
The Teacher Certificate curriculum provides a foundation for future careers in early care and education. The Teacher Certificate of Achievement may be earned by students who satisfactorily complete 24 units of coursework listed below with a grade of 鈥淐鈥� or better. Successful completion of the coursework and work experience meets the requirements of the Child Development Teacher Permit as outlined in the . To receive a Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing a student must complete 175 days of 3+ hours of experience per day within four years. Students must also successfully complete 16 general education units.
